First off, I’d like to give a reminder that for approximately the next six weeks, there will be club fairs at the freshman orientations.  We will have a club table set up at every orientation.  In addition, we have set-up and break-down duty for six of the dates.  This allows us to earn money for our club as well as get SA participation credit.

There are also a few other events that are of interest.  One is the NewSpace conference, which is July 23-25 in Silicon Valley, CA.  Although this is not an official UB-SEDS event, a few members will be attending, and there is still space for more people.  More details can be found at the official website, http://newspace2010.spacefrontier.org/.  If you are interested in attending, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Another event is the SpacePort USA exhibit that will be running at the Monroe County Fair next week, July 14-July 18.  Volunteers are always needed for this event – if you are in the Rochester area and interested in helping out, please let us know.

Another event that may be interesting to SEDS members is NYPower, a rocketry event held in Geneseo, NY from July 23-25.  More information can be found on their website, http://marsclub.org/nypower09/.
