UB-SEDS is currently working on a proposal to rebuild an astronomy observatory on Skinnersville Rd.

This observatory was built by students many years ago to house a telescope for student use.  However, through years of neglect, it has fallen into a state of disrepair, and is now deemed unusable and unsafe.

UB-SEDS recognizes the importance of such a facility to students and the benefits it can hold for the surrounding community.  As such, we are working to build a new observatory that will be available for use by both students at UB and the surrounding community.
