General Meeting Minutes Feb 28th, 2011

NASA RASC-AL Robo ops Rover Team -Nominated for NASA rover competition. -6-wheel rover. -Looking for interest. -Public outreach and development (mechatronics, controls, rigid body sims, etc.) -NASA looking for new designs to possibly use in missions. NanoSat proposal accepted! Rocketry -Launch Saturday 3/5, weather pending (Sunday 3/6 backup). -Components order should be in this week. -SEDS Rocketry competition announced. -Work sessions Wednesday 3/2 and Friday 3/4 in Jarvis 338. -Liquid design complete, orders to be made soon. Astronomy -Successful event last Wednesday 2/23. -Astral photography. Educational Outreach -Successful event on Saturday 2/26. Weather Balloon -New meeting time: Tuesdays 6:30PM in Jarvis 338 (starting this week). -Will start putting together a preliminary order or supplies. Space News
