The UB SEDS rocketry project group designs, models, and constructs various types of rockets. The group is currently developing multi-stage rockets and integrated data acquisition systems such as altimeters, video recorders, and more.

The UB SEDS Astronomy group is involved with viewing, understanding, and sharing the beauty of the stars.

The UB SEDS Educational Outreach group works to inform and inspire our nations youth to pursue academic excellence. It is our goal to inspire students to study hard by using space as an example of what they are learning in school. We believe that students must be inspired to learn through ambitious goals not mandated tests.

UB NanoSat team is a project that was put together in the Fall of 2008 in order to apply for the Air Force NanoSat program.  If our team is selected by the Air Force, we will be tasked with building, over the course of the next several years, a real satellite to be launched into orbit.  More information on this project group can be found inside.
